Our Setup Consultants Program is for 401k-knowledgeable people who want to work out of their own home or office helping 401(k) Easy clients. No selling or travel is involved. All work is done via telephone and e-mail. Setup Consultants answer 401(k) Easy clients' plan customization questions and, after the clients receive their customized 401(k) Easy systems, help the clients get started with their actual run-it-yourself 401k plan administration using 401(k) Easy.

-- Setup Consultants earn $300.00 per 4 hours (or less) of their time.
Helping 401(k) Easy customers with their plan customization questions generally takes one hour or less. Helping 401(k) Easy customers get started with their 401(k) Easy plan administration can take up to three hours; most 401(k) Easy customers require substantially less time -- if any. Setup Consultants earn $300 per 401(k) Easy customer assigned to them, even if the customer uses up less than the four hours of allotted time.

-- Setup Consultants work via telephone from their own homes or offices.
All 401(k) Easy Setup Consultants' work is done over the phone (and, to a much lesser extent, via e-mail). You can operate from any location you like so long as when you contact 401(k) Easy customers the conversation can be conducted in a business-like manner (no excessive or inappropriate background noise, cell phone interference, etc.)

-- Setup Consultants set their own hours.
We contact you regarding a 401(k) Easy customer needing help, assign the customer to you, then you contact the customer. Customers sometimes specify a "best time to reach me" but other than that you can contact the customer at whatever time during normal business hours that is most convenient for you within the ensuing 24 hour period.

We can assign a case to you via e-mail, phone, pager or cell phone, whichever best suits your needs. As a 401(k) Easy Consultant, you never have to sit chained to your desk waiting for our calls! We do require, however, that you be easily reachable and that when you contact our customers you do so in a professional, timely manner and from a location that in no way inhibits your providing the service contracted for (excessive or inappropriate background noise, cell phone interference, etc.)

-- Setup Consultants help customers understand their plan customization options.
401(k) Easy customers have a variety of plan customization options for their 401k plan (inclusion or exclusion of loans, matching contributions, automatic enrollment, and more). Setup Consultants explain 401(k) Easy's plan options to customers unsure about which options they want for their company 401k plan. Consultant go over basic pros and cons of the various options, answering customers' questions along the way and act as an information source for (not an advisor to) the customer. Plan customization consultations typically last one hour or less.

-- Setup Consultants help customers get started with their 401k plan administration.
After the a 401(k) Easy customer receives its customized 401(k) Easy 401k plan, administration software and companion materials, the customer is entitled to free help with using 401(k) Easy to run its 401k plan. Setup Consultants are responsible for helping the client get its 401k plan up and running. Up-and-running help typically involves helping the customer through inputting needed employee information, holding enrollment meetings/enrolling participants, and/or inputting employees' participation designations into the software.

Our 401k software is very easy to use (try it out for yourself); it comes with its own guided tour as well as a comprehensive yet easy-to-read User's Guide. Many 401(k) Easy customers never request any help with getting their plans up and running.

Even if a customer assigned to you never asks you for one minute of getting started help, you still earn the full $300!

-- There's no selling involved.
The goal in Consultants providing 401k information to our customers is to help each customer create the 401k plan best suited to its needs. We have no interest in customers choosing one plan option over another and in no way encourage our Consultants to "push" for specific choices.

-- Setup Consultants earn extra $$$ for helping with plan conversions.
If you have experience in handling 401k plan conversions, especially small plan conversions, let us know. 401(k) Easy Off-site Tech Support Consultants Program

The 401(k) Easy Off-site Tech Support Consultants Program is for independent parties interested in providing technical assistance via telephone to 401(k) Easy customers. No selling or travel is involved. All work is done via telephone and e-mail.

-- Tech Consultants earn $20.00 per 15 minutes!
We value quality Tech Consultants, and we pay them accordingly!

-- Tech Consultants work via telephone from their own homes or offices.
All 401(k) Easy Tech Consultants' work is done over the phone. No traveling is required.

As an off-site Tech Consultant, you can set up anywhere you like so long as when you contact 401(k) Easy customers the conversation can be conducted in a business-like manner (no excessive or inappropriate background noise, cell phone interference, etc.) and you have the materials at hand (requisite PC setup, 401(k) Easy User's Guide, etc.) that you need to answer the customer's questions.

-- Tech Consultants set their own hours.
We contact you regarding a 401(k) Easy customer needing help, assign the tech call to you, then you contact the customer. Customers sometimes specify a "best time to reach me" but other than that you can contact the customer at whatever time during normal business hours that is most convenient for you within the ensuing 24 hour period.

-- Tech Support Consultants need to demonstrate a mastery of using 401(k) Easy.
If accepted into the Program, we will supply you with a list of common technical issues and their solutions and supply you with a User's Guide before asking you to show us what you can do. In addition, Off-site Tech Consultants always have access to our in-house technical staff for help with any issue.
